I can't believe I missed Mitt on this one. ...Wow. I can't believe I missed Mitt on this one. I haven't really paid much attention to Mitt's campaign because I disagree so vehemently with his promotion of aggressive pre-emptive warmaking among other things.

Thank you Bob. You are *exactly* right on with this one. I'm not sure where Mitt's faith is if it stops at Moses . . .Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02005947277425774328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6495998.post-35884502297493692102008-01-08T22:42:00.000-07:002008-01-08T22:42:00.000-07:00We need to join forces to UtahUnited.org for Obama...We need to join forces to UtahUnited.org for Obama/Hilary. I think you are missing the point.
I am no fan of Mitt Romney. But Mitt was the most viable Rebulican candidate. He was the only one to unite social and economic conservatives. He was the only one with the look and energy to go the distance. The only possible explaination for the republicans not to back Mitt is bigotry.

Hillary and Barack are trouble for me who is entering the work place and wants to keep my money, But I will give up money to live in a country where my child can be president.

A vote for Mitt is a vote for the normalcy of your children’s children. If Mitt was to become president then Mormonism is a large step closer to the mainstream and acceptance. Our children will be more accepted in a world that has seen a Mormon president. The process will expose the bigotry of others and force the world to take a real look at what Mormons actually believe. Think of all the missionary opportunities that will result. I would predict a steep increase in baptisms in the decade following a Mormon president.

I don’t know if those of you that were raised in the west can fully appreciate the prejudice against Mormons that still exists. High school was very difficult in Florida with my friends, teachers, and even my coach giving me a hard time about my religion. I saw a recent poll that showed more people are accepting of an African American or women president, then of a Mormon president. That means Mormons are the most discriminated against minority in the country!

So for the sake of my children’s children protest vote for Obama and show the world that Utah is not the republicans lackeyTrustMitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03330927540221669134noreply@blogger.com
