So Republicans can vote in the Democratic primary and remain registered as Republicans. However, Republicans have a rule saying that you have to be a Republican to vote in a Republican primary. So, if anyone wants to change parties, that's fine, but you don't have to if you want a say in who gets the Democratic nomination. :)Misty Fowlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14913405400935977458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6495998.post-78112519940916310452007-08-22T13:51:00.000-06:002007-08-22T13:51:00.000-06:00According to my understanding of the way this year...According to my understanding of the way this year's primary is going to be run by the State of Utah, you are only allowed to vote in one primary. Furthermore, if you are registered as a member of one party you can't vote in the primary of annother party (i.e. Republicans can't vote in Democratic Primary).

Which reminds me. I might need to change my voter registration from the last Republican Primary I voted in....Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04904969537714974512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6495998.post-91607778190385208862007-08-22T13:27:00.000-06:002007-08-22T13:27:00.000-06:00I could be completely wrong, but since the Democra...I could be completely wrong, but since the Democrats usually have an open primary, you could do both. You could register as a Republican, vote for Paul and also Obama in the Democratic primary. Again, someone may be able to clarify this. Of course, you would have to register as a Republican, and who knows what the hell will happen next, even if you change it again the next day.Brett Garnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05722225634447180698noreply@blogger.com
