I was looking for the current FEC filings (they're not online yet), and came accross Orrin Hatch's declaration of candidacy.

Maybe he was sick of being a Republican? I know I was.
In fairness, here's Pete Ashdown's declaration. He has a party.

If it becomes an issue, I think he can ammend the statement, but, wouldn't it be entertaining to have him run as an independant?
