Hatch flip-flops on Iraq visit

From today's Tribune:

Hatch, a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, told The Tribune last month that "visiting Iraq is not as helpful as some might imagine," noting that he gets weekly briefings on the war and stressing that it takes "great resources to escort a member of Congress or someone else around Iraq and these resources, I think, would be better spent fighting the war."
But in a statement Tuesday to The Tribune, Hatch said visiting troops in Iraq was, in fact, "something I've meant to do."

So, in other words, he's been meaning to waste these resources, but he hasn't yet.
