Yesterday at church, someone stood up to give his testimony. He spoke of a recent trip to the US Graveyard at Normandy.
He asked "How am I using my freedom?"
So, I have thought of a little quiz to help us out for the 4th of July.
1. If you went to church this week, give yourself a point.
2. If you chose not to go to church, give yourself a point.
3. If you spoke up for wrongs commited, give yourself a point.
4. If you spoke up for rights committed, give yourself a point.
5. If you read the newspaper, watched the evening news, or read a blog, give yourself a point.
6. If you are gathering with friends, neighbors, or family, large or small, give yourself a point.
7. If you have taken the time recently to write, call, or email your Senators, Representative, or other elected officials, give yourself 1 point each.
8. If you are carrying a gun, or have one in your home, give yourself a point.
9. If you are choosing not to carry a gun, give yourself a point.
10. If you did not get told that you must house a United States soldier, give yourself a point.
11. If you did not get asked the past week to randomly show identification, or allow the police to search your person or property for no reason, give yourfelf a point.
12. If you did not admit to commiting a crime, give yourself a point.
13. If you have shown up for jury duty when called, give yourself 2 points.
14. If you voted last Tuesday, give yourself 2 points.
15. If you are registered to vote, give yourself a point.
16. If you did not prevent annother person from voting, give yourself a point.
If you scored more than 5 points, you are using your freedoms. If you got less than 5, you are abusing your freedoms (or you mistook the quiz).
