Comment of the month

It's been a while since I awarded a comment of the month award, but I feel that there is one that deserves the award for August.

It came on a post over at SLCSpin that was written by my friend Shaun. The post was a rundown on how wonderful the Republicans are at being shining examples of "Utah Values."

Shaun's reply:

The real shame is that the internals of both parties can and do have a tendancy to support this kind of candidate.

I find it shameful that candidates like Ashdown are the exception while it seems that candidates like Hatch are the rule.

If an honest man decides it's time to do something; what are the odds he will even make it through convention?

It's a sad sad thing. Our way of doing things is not sustainable, and it will cost us dearly in the end. It's not the republican form of government that's the problem, it's the lack of questioning of our official's and their parties' motives.
