Fiscal Responsibility, Part I

My posting on this blog has been erratic as of late because I have been working. A lot.

I make money, and I spend money. I am accountable to only myself for what I choose to spend my money on.

Unfortunately, too many people in government see the government money as their own. It is not.

The citizens of a taxing entity reluctantly pay their taxes with the hope that the money is spent wisely, for the betterment of all residents of the taxing entity, whether the money be spent on schools, roads, libraries, parks, or other infrustructure.

This is the start of what I hope will be an educational journey to see how this weeks two major political stories, ReAL Salt Lake and school vouchers, interconnect.
