From the people who brought you Mormons for Dean......

Mormons for Obama.

I'm amazed that I've managed to get 31 people signed up, without even trying.

This quote sums it up for me.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

I don't want to live in a socialist government. If you do go live in China and leave us to our freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who you are nor do I know why you singled me out with this response. I don't believe I ever said I was socialistic.

The tone of your voice doesn't sound very Mormon to me either.

What is at stake here in very simple terms is by our vote we either choose to vote for the right of a citizen of these United States to govern our own lives or we give that right to the government.

So far my vote goes for smaller government and the lesser of two ills - McCain and Pallen.

I believe I have and should have the right to choose how to spend my own hard earned money and to choose to whom I wish to help with it. That is my privilege and not the right of government to decide for me who I should give my money to.

It saddens me to see how our constitution is ignored we were never meant to be a democarcy…..but a free republic and now I see our consitution hanging by a thread as we move towards solicalist ideas.

Obama is correct on one issue a progressive tax system does the same thing as his idea to spread the wealth.

If you want to see how far our country has gone down the road of socialism read the Communist Manefesto. it is an eye opener.

No matter what party you belong to vote for the constitution and right now the only party who even comes close to upholding it is the republican party (as far as canidates go)

God Help us all.

What is at stake here is far more important than party affiliation..or who said what about our faith. What really is at stake is saving the consitution. It is upholding the ideals of that sacred document. It is a very simple choice for me. I choose to uphold the consitution to the best of my ability.

I consider this political sitution to be similar to the war in Heaven we either vote to have the right of agency or we vote for the party that chooses to take that right away from us...hmmmmmm that seems to be the spoilers plan. The real issue is agency either we keep it or turn it over the the government. Not my fathers plan or mine.

If you want to know how far to the left our country has gone read the communist manifesto it is an eye opener. Read the words of Pres. Benson, Cleon Skousen etc.
Read some of the writings of the founding fathers and thier vision for America it will make you cry and wonder how things got so far out of hand. Read what the Lord has to say about the where do I ever read where it says we should spread the wealth around.

I want the right of choice to spread my wealth according to my inspired ideas not have the government do it for me. Wake up.......whenever someone challenges those in the Obama camp they start a smear campaign......this happened to Joe the plumber and now to a gutsy news anker in Florida.......that is how communists countries operate they suppress the news media that does not agree with thier world view

Whenever govenment tells you they will take care of you beware they will take care of you all right by making sure they limit your right of choice.

Wake up the secret combinations are in control and thier guy is Obama

Wow! So much love here for the DNC here!

Just because the Democratic Party is ideologically closer to the Socialist Party (being on the left), does not make it the Socialist Party. The Socialists are also not quite as far left as the Communists. The political spectrum can also be extreme on the right, and it includes nationalism and fascism. That does not make the Republicanism Party fascist.

As for the "wealth redistribution," Obama's tax plan includes a tax cut for all with under $250K of yearly taxable income. This fact has been vetted by independent non-partisan organizations such as over and over again. For all of the clout that the GOP has had for 6 years, I don't see a Federal flat income tax. So this "wealth redistribution" is all relative isn't it?
