Post 1400: Goodbye Forever

Dear Readers-

I have been thinking a lot about where I am in my life right now, and where I am headed. I have been doing much soul-searching.

One thing that has occurred to me is how much time I have been spending in activities that leave no room for personal, spiritual, or emotional growth. This includes my blog.

I have enjoyed writing down my thoughts, and have especially enjoyed the small amount of notoriety that has come from writing a blog. In fact, I owe my day job to this blog. The past 4 years or so that I have been doing this have really been fun. I never thought I'd write one hundred posts, let alone 1400.

However, time is a limited resource these days. Therefore, I have decided to stop writing my blog. I will keep it here for all to see the work I have produced, but I will no longer contribute to this blog.

That's right. Effective Immediately, this first day of April 2008, I have retired from the blogging community.

Happy Trails.

-Bob

P.S. The title comes from one of my favorite Web Series called "We Need Girlfriends." You should really check out the first two episodes here and here.

Bob, I'm sorry to see you go. I will miss you a lot. At least until I see you in the office later.

Good riddance, I say.

Another liberal Utah blogger confronts reality and bites the dust.

Have a happy liberal life.

I guess you do have the wedding to get ready for. I could see how that would be much more important than blogging.

Also, I know what goodbye forever means, I'm bilingual.

Don't do it, Bob! But if you do, make it a short break.

I know you'll be back. Blogging is like heroin, and there will always be some jackass like Everett in the comment above that needs the stupid verbally slapped out of them.
