I wish I was making up the agenda for the Republican Convention (why am I in Denver writing about the Republicans?). I don't know if irony or hypocrisy is the correct word that I want.
The theme of the convention: "Putting Country First" they just don't say which country.
Monday: "Service" Like helping people?
Tuesday: "Reform" You know this country is messed up when the incumbent party is using "Reform" as a convention theme.
Wednesday: "Prosperity" or, "Marry a beer heiress and you too can own countless homes."
Thursday: "We're really a bunch of hippies."
OK, so I lied on the last one. It's Peace, and that's no lie.
Sometimes, the jokes write themselves....
