New Obama Ad: Will You Be Better off 4 Years From Now?
"Defining Moment" highlights that the question is not "are you better off than you were four years ago?" We know the answer to that. The real question is will our country be better off four years from now?
Haha...this is hilarious. This ad only proves Obama has no original rhetoric. Do you know that Ronald Reagan asked the same thing in 1980 during his second presidential debate and it was considered one of the questions that helped him win that debate???
Barack Obama is stealing rhetoric from a Republican?
In his closing remarks during the final presidential debate of 1980, Ronald Reagan famously asked the American people: "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"

I'll vote for him. Oh, yeah I already did! What a great ad.

GUess what, anon:
I did know that RR used that line in a debate, and that the line has been used in nearly every race the last 28 years.
However, that's not the question being asked. It's "WILL YOU BE better off...." You know, looking forward, not backwards.
And, it's not like McCain/Palin has anything new they are bringing out....
