Why I hate MoveOn
I've been avoiding talking about the MoveOn ad.
However, I really have to say something.
A "local" blog has said that the MoveOn ad worked, because nobody can hear General Petraeus without think of General Betray Us.
Except that Shaun, who had not heard of the ad, made that connection.
The General didn't Betray Us. He betrayed the men and women fighting in Iraq.
Furthermore, all we are talking about is that ad, even two weeks after it ran. We aren't talking about how bad things really are in Iraq, nor the numerous errors in the Petraeus Report. The US Senate even held a vote on the subject last week.
