Welcome Home, Rocky

One of my favorite topics used to be Rocky Anderson. Somebody asked me the other day why I haven't had anything to say about Rocky.

He's been gone. Absent. In need of a substitute.

However, he just came home. And, I hadn't realized just how long he'd been gone.

Rocky on liquor rules: 'Asinine'

International visitors find Utah's liquor laws unfriendly, said Anderson, pointing to rules limiting the amount of alcohol in mixed drinks to one ounce and requiring paid memberships to enter liquor-serving private clubs.
"You cannot get a real drink with only one ounce of alcohol," he said, describing how many patrons order a "sidecar," or second drink, to supplement the first and, in some cases, wind up imbibing more than they otherwise would have.
"Try explaining the logic behind that to someone who doesn't live here," Anderson said. "It doesn't make sense."

I don't even drink, and I knew that.

I bet even Orrin Hatch, who doesn't drink OR live here could figure it out. OK, maybe not.

Welcome Home, Mr Mayor. Have a drink, kick back and stay a while.
