Where the money could go

I just recieved an email from the UEA about today's special session. According to the UEA, here's what $70 million dollars could get us:

Hire an additional 1,200 teachers
or
Increase the weighted pupil unit by 3.5%
or
Fund enrollment growth for over 14,000 students
or
Reduce class size to 20 students per class K-3 and still have significant money left to address other crucial needs in or class size reduction
or
Provide for statewide technology updates.

The tax cuts equal about $48 per taxpayer. Here's what $48 can get you:

2 Utah Jazz Tickets in the middle of the upper bowl (parking a food not included)
or
1 2002 Olympic Banner on eBay
or
A WWII Serviceman's edition of the Book of Mormon (also on eBay)
or
2 tickets to the opening night of the circus next week at the Delta Center on the top row of the lower bowl.
