Endorsements are not something I take lightly. I have looked at the issues. In some cases, I have contacted candidates. You could say that I have searched, pondered, and prayed.
I do this because many times, I only have my name to lend to a campaign. I don't want that name to be thrown out there. I've been asked by several campaigns to give them an endorsement. II have only given that to one campaign thus far: Pete Ashdown for U.S. Senate.
That changes today. Between now and election day, I will be issuing endorsements for several races. Some of them I have ready, and I'm working on more.
Events may make things change. If that happens, I will amend my endorsements.
