So, we read in today's Tribune that Orrin Hatch has sent out fundraising letters to raise more money for himself.
Because a $2.8 million lead 2 weeks from election eve ain't enough. Especially when you're only ahead by 30 points in the polls.
Instead of helping candidates that need his fundraising help, like LaVar Christensen, he takes the money for himself.
Then, we read in Paul Rolly's column that the Utah GOP hasn't paid all the bills for the "welcome to Utah" party for the President at the airport. They thought that the RNC was going to cover it, but they aren't. They asked Orrin2006 to pitch in, but they are too cash-strapped.
Because spending less tan 1.4% of your cash on hand to help your party is just too much.

I swear I just saw an article explaining Hatch was starting to give away his money. Oh well, I guess he'll have more to keep in the freezer if he so decides.
