Last ngiht on KSL Nightside, Ethan reported that there had been an investigation by the office of Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon into hiring practices in the office of County Recorder Gary Ott. Now, Corroon's office will ask the office of District Attorney David Yocum to investigate.
Corroon and Yocum are Democrats. Ott is a Republican.
Watch for James Evans, Chair of the Salt Lake County Republican Party, to ask why the investigation has never come in Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen's office.
And the sad thing is, I agree with Evans. All wrongdoing (and things shure sound fishy) should be investigated.
If, for no other reason, to help combat charges of partisanship.
