Mr. Cannon-
Since you will soon be in charge of the D-News, here is one suggestion I have to improve your paper:
Allow people in Utah to subscribe to the Church News.
It is highly unfair to allow people in 49 states to read the Church News, but yet discriminate against the 1.5 Million+ Latter-Day Saints in this state. Many of us do not subscribe to your paper for various reasons. However, we would like to recieve the Church News.
The reason I have gotten in the past that your paper does not allow subscriptions to only the Church News is that it forces people to buy the Deseret News, much like people buy the Sunday paper just for all the ads.
However, as a Mormon, I find this objectionable. You are using the Church for profit, which is akin to the money changers that Christ threw out of the Temple.
