Stolen Property

Apparently, two bills sponsored by Rep. Becky Lockhart (2006 HB 133 and 2007 HB 402) make it easier for Pawn Shops to deal in stolen property.

You know what's ironic about this? The legislature passed a bill last session to require taking down the name, address and fingerprint of anyone selling something to a secondhand store. Talk about mixed signals.
