Steven Colbert: President Hinckley Murdered

I was watching the Colbert Report last night when I came across this shocking story:

(Hat Tip: Salt Blog)

(For those of you who don't know, Stephen Colbert does a comedy show.)

This is sick. There is absolutely no reason for colbert to be bashing a deceased person. There was no "foul play", like Colbert pointed out himself, President Hinckley was very old! I realize that Colbert thinks this is funny, but it's not. Find material that doesn't mock a dead person, especially one that meant so much to many people.

Having actually listened to President Hinckley and President Monson, they would have found this funny.

Some people need to find a sense of humor....

As a Latter-Day Saint myself, I have to say this is very funny. Colbert has developed himself as a comedian that noone should take seriously, and his claim that Monson will be "puppeteering" Mitt Romney is gut-bustingly funny.

The one thing I thought was lame didn't come from Colbert. It was where he talks about the New Yorker article and the audience boos. Like they believe it's an actual quote. I suppose they were dumb enough to believe Guy Smiley and Mitt Romney are the same person too. Duh.

The rest of it is pretty funny.
