Utah Republicans Are Liars

I'm looking at CNN's exit poll data from Utah on Tuesday.

90% of Republican voters said they were Mormon.

Of those, 94% voted for Quitt Romney.

Yet 59% said (with a strait face) that Religious Beliefs of Candidate Matter not much or not at all (89% of whom voted for Quitt).

Of course, their King is a liar, so it's fitting.

(P.S. -- Their King is, of course, Willard Milton Romney, in case you didn't know...)

Or, it could mean that he has a good standing because of the Olympics. Also, Huckabee's comments about the LDS church turned people off. McCain has always been seen as too liberal (at least with my involvement over the past 6 years).

I voted for Fred Thompson.

Here is a hypothetical letter I wrote to Utah Republicans:

Dear Utah Republicans,
I have heard through the grapevine that you hate Hillary Clinton with the passion of all the fiery furnaces of hell. I admire this conviction.

However, if you really wanted to get rid of her, voting for Romney was not the way to do it.

I'm just saying.

Sincerely,

Megan

Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado- all places with high concetration of mormons, voters did not fear his faith, and hense were freed to vote for the best Republican because they were not blinded by their religous bigotry.

And sure, call Mitt a quitter- if he was still in the race you'd call him dillusional.

He won me over, when we Agreed on one point....

"It was best for the country, if he didn't run."

If only he will stick to it in the future.

Hate is not productive.

I'm sure that the 88% of Mormons who voted for Romney in Arizona did so because of the Olympics.

Same with the 95% of Mormons who caucused for Romney in Nevada.

Look, it's hard to say that Mormons don't vote in a block when we do....
