Crazy Republicans

OK, those crazy Republicans are at it again. They have a theme song that they want on MTV's Total Request Live. And they say that if they don't get it on there, it shows political bias on MTV's part.

Who cares that while the Music part of MusicTeleVision's name has all but disappeared, It's still Television. That'll make it hard to get on MTV without a video. (Hey, I didn't say you had to be smart to be a Republican).

Never fear, Keith Olberman has made a video. Click here to see the link from Crooks and Liars.

Oh, and the song ranks right up there with Orrin Hatch's songwriting.

Some lyrics, from Think Progress:

Freedom in Afghanistan,
say goodbye Taliban
Free elections in Iraq,
Saddam Hussein locked up

Osama’s staying underground,
Al Qaida now is finding out
America won’t turn and run once the fighting has begun
Don’t you know
that all this means…

Bush was right! Bush was right!

Except Afghanistan isn't exactly free. The Taliban controls more of the country than the Afghan people and United States combined, Osama may be staying underground, but he's more effective than ever.

Unless you ask Rightmarch.com. From their action release on "Bush was Right:"

And of course, everywhere they turn, the mainstream media is lying to them about
the FACTS -- like the FACT that WMDs were found in Iraq, including enriched
uranium, chemical weapons agents, chemical warheads containing cyclosarin,
radioactive materials in powdered form, roadside bombs loaded with mustard and
"conventional" sarin gas, etc.; or the FACT of clear, uncontested, proven links
between Saddam Hussein's Iraq and Al Qaeda; or the FACTS of all of the GOOD news
that's happening in Iraq, which the media refuses to report!

I count about five "facts" that are simply fiction. Maybe Rightmarch needs to go back to school to learn the difference between fact and fiction. I believe we learn that in 1st grade now.
