I was going to visit the legislature yesterday for opening day, but other issues came up, which didn't resolve themselves until later in the evening. I hope to get up there once or twice during the session. Between job hunting and working, I'm making no guarantees.
Ethan at SLCSpin was there. The tribune has put up a new blog titled "Planet Legislature" that is written by their reporters on the hill. It looks like it will be a good read during the session.
