Last Night Could have been interesting

Rob Miller was there. Cliff Lyon was there. Chris Cannon was there. Mitt Romney may have been there, and even if he wasn't, probably got to see it live via satellite.

I had several opportunities to attend, but had to turn them down due to work scheduling.

What was it? Last Night's Preisthood session of General Conference.

Rob called me to invite me, saying it was from the "Anti Mormon Democratic Leadership" with tounge planted firmly in cheek.

As I sat listening at the Priesthood Session of General Conference tonight — yes, I was there — I couldn’t help thinking about how Chris Cannon, sitting a few rows in front of me, must have felt listening to all the admonitions to live a morally righteous and pure life and how to avoid “unclean” things.

It would have been an interesting evening spent with those guys.

Instead, I was watching the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus for the third time in one day.

I think that should be considered torture by the Geneva Convention.
