New and Improved Deseret News Altering History

The Deseret News must have laid off all their fact checkers. And editors. And anyone born in the past 30 years. Because this is more than a little mistake:

As Relief Society President during a time of fierce conflict over women's issues and the then proposed Equal Rights Amendment, she was invited to a state dinner with U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and later invited to the White House by U.S. President Jimmy Carter.

Last time I checked, President Reagan served AFTER President Carter. But I could be wrong. After all, The Deseret News is the Only True and Living Newspaper(TM). They can't be wrong.

So, 9% of those polled don't think Obama's a citizen. So, how do you spin the poll?

I stand with Urquhart -- the Dnews needs to release their tapes

I think Representative Steve Urquhart is right -- the Deseret News needs to release the recording of their editorial board meeting last Monday with Senator Bramble. The reason this needs to happen is that there is a discrepancy between what the Republicans say Bramble said and what the DNews reported.

Why am I standing with Steve on this?

Because at worst, it shows just how bad their political reporting is. At best, it shows what liars and crybabies Republicans are.

Either way, I win.
